Poly Stakes
Poly Stakes are made of the same material as the Poly Board. They come in 13” lengths for the 1” x 4” and 15” lengths for the 1” x 6” boards. They may be utilized in the middle or the board run to hold the board down. The recommended frequency of stakes is 1 every 3 feet. They should be fastened to the Poly Board by 1 wallboard screw. This allows the stake to swivel on the board during the expansion & contraction. (Two screws would bind the board and stake.) These are alternatives to the metal stake in the middle or the board run section of the board installation.

Metal Saddle Stakes
These stakes come in 13” lengths for the 1” x 4” and 18” lengths for the 1” x 6” for use at the joints of Poly Board. These stakes allow the Poly Board to expand and contract with the seasonal weather patterns without the bucking effect at the joints. These stakes can also be utilized in the middle or the board run to hold the board down. 1 stake every 3 feet is the recommended distance between stakes.
