Note: Use protective eye wear and work golves for installation
Step 1.
Unravel the coiled edging out of the box and place a source of weight to keep down both ends of the edging. If the temperature is below 65 degrees, the edging will need to be exposed to the sun for a minimum of three days. If it is between 65-75 degrees, two days. In excess of 75 degrees on a sunny day, four to five hours will be sufficient.
NOTE: This method will allow for EASIER installation as the goal is to install the edging as a flat versus a coiled piece. Installing the product right from the packaging will create misery in installing the edging and affect the ability for the edging to stay in the ground.
Step 2:
Dig a 4-5 inch trench along lawn edge
Step 3:
Sink edging into trench with the bottom "V" lip facing the rocks or mulch
Step 4:
Secure edging with stakes facing the grass as indicated
Step 5:
Sink stake through the fin every 5 feet at a 45 degree angle
Step 6:
For connecting two sections of edging together, cut five inches from one of the sections of bead. Attach both sections with a connecting plug. Hammer the anchor stake through both sections of edging.
